Sabrina’s interview

When did your school start programming this trip?

It started programming it in the beginning of April.

What do you think you could learn staying here?

I think I could learn some Italian words and I think I could understand the differences between English and Italian culture.

Did you and the other girls already know eachother?

No, we didn’t. We met while travelling.

Why does your school send you to other countries to learn how to become a techer instead of working with English children?

Because in this way they can test our teaching skills, since only a good teacher could teach children who don’t speak the same language as he/she does.

Do you think you could teach us (the children) something? If yes, what would it be?

I think I could teach you English, mostly.

Do you think Italian children can speak English well?

Yes, I think they can speak it pretty well.

What italian words did you learn?

I learnt “hello”, which is “ciao”, “one two three”, which is “uno due tre”, “please”, which is “per favore”, and “thanks”, which is “grazie”
